Fullerton College, Neighbors United for Fullerton (NUFF), and the Fullerton Observer request candidates to join us as we invite community members and students for an opportunity to meet with candidates on the November ballot representing Fullerton.

The format of the event would be to provide a table for each candidate and space for the audience members to sit and talk with you as they move between tables to meet other candidates.
Tony Castro was a Union Carpenter for the Carpenter's Union Local 803. His Father retired from the Laborer's Union Local 652. Most of Tony Castro's cousins and uncles are union construction members. His grand father, great grand father and great uncle were all union members. A vote for Tony Castro is a vote for Union Values. Tony Castro is the Pro-Union candidate for Fullerton's City Council seat in District 5.
Tony worked as a union Carpenter, Local 803 and his father Antonio recently retired from the laborers union, Local 652. Tony Castro was raised in a union home, in a union family, with union values. Tony believes that unions are necessary to help grow the middle class. Tony Castro will continue fighting for union values and strengthening unions in the work place. Tony Castro is recognized by the Orange County Register's Excelsior for Excellence in the community. In 2005 Tony Castro was the President of the Cypress College A.S.B, founder of the Scholarship Club and President of the Political Science Club.
In Sacramento, Tony Castro, Co-Coordinator of Rescue Education California, successfully fought to reduce college costs at the Community College and University levels.
Tony Castro is mentioned in a published book used in California Colleges including; Golden West College, U.C, Riverside and Long Beach City College. Tony Castro was recognized for his research on climate change and his research on affordable Colleges and Universities.
